With only eight minutes of extra time remaining, Liverpool led 3-2 before Marcus Rashford equalized for United.
Diallo then hammered the Merseysiders on the counter at the very end.
And United have been rewarded for their smash-and-grab with a semi-final match against Championship side Coventry next month.
Klopp was visibly upset after the final whistle during his post-match interview.
However, a Scandinavian reporter’s inquiry in the tunnel left him seething.Luke Littler brutally trolls Jurgen Klopp as lifelong Man Utd fan weighs in on win over Liverpool with hilarious tweet | The US Sun
The journalist ignited the fire by asking: “Normally, intensity is the name of your game, so how come it became so difficult in extra time?”
This line of questioning infuriated Klopp, who exploded: “A bit of a foolish question, I have to say, because you see us so often.
“If you never saw us, you might wonder, ‘How can they have more resources?’” We’ve played a lot of games recently.
“I’m not sure how many games United played. I’m very dissatisfied with that question, but you clearly felt it was good.”
The reporter was not deterred, however, and continued: “So, too many games?”
But for Klopp, that was the last straw.
He yelped, “Oh come on. You are clearly not in good shape, and I have no nerves for you.”
Amazingly, Klopp then walked out of the interview, leaving the reporter in shock. Jurgen Klopp walked out of an interview after blasting a reporter’s ‘dumb question’
