REDS DANCING: Liverpool’s Mac Allister ‘weigh it all’ for Argentina vs Costa Rica as he scores a super goal in half-time

Argentina rallied from behind to defeat Costa Rica 3-1 in an international friendly in Los Angeles on Tuesday, thanks to goals from Angel Di Maria, Alexis Mac Allister, and Lautaro Martinez.

The South American giants, missing injured captain Lionel Messi, finished their two-game tour of the United States with a well-deserved victory at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Lionel Scaloni’s side, which defeated El Salvador 3-0 in Philadelphia on Friday, dominated the first 45 minutes, creating a number of excellent opportunities.

Alvaro Zamora grabbed onto Manfred Ugalde’s pass and launched a low shot that Argentina goalkeeper Walter Benitez blocked.

Benitez’s stop, however, dropped kindly into the hands of Ugalde, who bundled home the rebound for 1-0.

Argentina drew level early in the second half with a wonderful equaliser from veteran Di Maria on 52 minutes.

The 36-year-old Benfica winger blasted a fantastic free kick from just beyond the box that went into the top corner past Costa Rica goalkeeper Keylor Navas.
