On Thursday night at Anfield, with the score tied with Sheffield United, Mohamed Salah was substituted out.
When Harvey Elliott was selected by Jurgen Klopp to take his place after an hour, the Egyptian appeared clearly irritated.
Darwin Nunez gave the home team an early lead, but the Reds were caught napping at the last minute thanks to an own goal by Connor Bradley.
Salah walked to the bench, shook his head, and appeared dejected before settling in.

But Klopp’s choice paid off as the Reds won 3-1 when Alexis Mac Allister gave them the lead again in the 77th minute and Cody Gakpo added a late third.
In order to keep the winger fresh ahead of a challenging run-in, Klopp will be hopeful that his choice to replace Salah will help Liverpool remain in a close title fight with Manchester City and Arsenal.
Speaking last month, Klopp encouraged his striker to carry on with the amazing goal-scoring form he displayed in prior years.
“The one issue we never had in our seven years together was consistency,” he remarked.
“Mo is simply delivering; his quality is there, his desire to score is unwavering, and he just keeps delivering.”
From the time he came here, he has been better in a lot of areas. He is unabated in his actions.
