Liverpool football star Mo Salah wears jedi-style hooded coat as he goes for a spin in his Bentley

Mo Salah opted for a Jedi-style hooded coat while taking his new Bentley for a spin on Monday.

The Liverpool star, 26, donned the intergalactic item as he headed for lunch in the affluent village of Alderley Edge in Cheshire on Monday.

He kept the knitted cardigan wrapped around his head to keep a low profile as he got behind the wheel before driving off into town.

He finished off his look with ripped jeans and heavy black boots.

That was shortly after netting a winning goal against Brighton to bolster Liverpool’s lead at the top of the Premier League.

The Egyptian scored from a penalty that he won after going to ground in the box – sparking fresh accusations of diving.

He was also recently brought down in the Reds huge victory over Arsenal, and now fingers are being pointed in his direction when it comes to winning decisions in the area.

But his team-mate Andrew Robertson leapt to his defence, saying replays clearly show Salah was fouled by his opponents on each occasion.

‘Every time it happens, we go back, everyone looks at the video, and you go, “Well, it’s not a dive”, Robertson said following the victory on the south coast, as Goal reported.

‘I was at the edge of the box and it was a stone-waller. If people are starting to say Mo has gone down easily, it’s not fair.

‘The one against Arsenal, especially, he got clipped three times. They still appealed. It’s a bit of desperation.’
