Liverpool have lined up a £40 million deal for Leeds’ 17-year-old star Archie Gray, only three months after his first-team debut, as Premier League clubs take notice of the superb midfielder.

Liverpool have excelled in attracting some of the finest young British talent in recent times. With Brexit restricting their ability to sign players under 18 from Europe, the club has turned its focus closer to home. Notable additions like Harvey Elliott, Bobby Clark, and Kaide Gordon have swiftly integrated into the first-team setup, while others such as Ben Doak and James McConnell bolster the youth academy. Last summer’s acquisitions of Trey Nyoni and Amara Nallo are also poised to yield future dividends.
