During the Swedish Euro 2024 coverage, Virgil van Dijk’s beatboxing of former Premier League player John Guidetti was revealed in an AMAZING moment.
The former star of Stoke and Manchester City winced at seeing the Holland skipper rap with his younger self.

But in recent years, the Swedish star has faded from view.Despite never making an impression at City after departing the team in 2015, the 32-year-old is still well-known in Sweden after moving back to his own country in 2022 to play for AIK.Additionally, this summer, Guidetti joined SVT Sport, a Swedish broadcaster, to cover the Euros when the Allsvenskan was suspended for the summer.Tuesday night, Guidetti was shown an old tape of himself rapping back at Celtic with Van Dijk beatboxing for him, before to Holland thrashing Romania 3-0.
The striker started rapping in Swedish for 20 seconds after the Holland captain was asked to create a beat for Guidetti on the microphone in the video.Even though the former Burnley star winced when he saw himself in that younger photo in the studio, fans were pleased by his musical abilities.As someone commented: “That’s actually pretty excellent. If I could come up with something similar, I wouldn’t feel ashamed.”One more person said, “Swedish rap is really underappreciated. There is a very pleasant flow to the language.”Then a third said, “Hey, this is really terrific TV. Although I’ve never been a big fan of John Guidetti, I must admit that he’s been a rather enjoyable pundit this Euros.”Following their victory over Turkey in the last-16 match, Van Dijk and his Holland team will play Turkey in the quarterfinals on Saturday.Merih Demiral gave Turkey the lead against Austria after 57 seconds, and the former Juventus player extended their advantage in the second half.Late in the game, Austria made a comeback but was unable to equalise.
