He continued to train until Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon (now: Sporting CP) recruited him. He spent a lot of time with Sporting, from junior to senior levels from 1997. A golden opportunity came.

The world’s famous coach, Sir Alex Ferguson, is interested in using his services to defend MU. Ronaldo didn’t want to waste the opportunity. Moreover, his coach gave Ronaldo a sacred number, seven.

That trust is paid in cash by Ronaldo. He was able to prove himself to be a reliable footballer. He can excel in every game. Ulam’s beloved pinnacle arrives. Ronaldo’s best performance appeared in the 2007-2008 season.

That season Ronaldo achieved a sweet achievement. MU brought him to win the Champions League. A condition that made many European clubs want to propose to Ronaldo. However, Ronaldo only moved when Spanish giant Real Madrid proposed to him in 2009.

Ronaldo immediately proved his capacity as a big player. He was able to achieve everything with Real Madrid — the Spanish League, the Champions League, and the Copa Del Rey (King Cup). This achievement was supported by his individual achievements.

Ronaldo received an individual Ballon d’Or award four times (2013, 2014, 2016, 2017). He was even able to bring Madrid to the Champion League four times (2014, 2016, 2017, 2018).
Most of Ronaldo’s life was built in the club, Real Madrid. This doesn’t mean that Real Madrid is home to solitary people or there’s no team spirit there; on the other hand, the club is strong and rich, and many of its supporters are passionate, dedicated, and honest.”

“However, it is undeniable that because Madrid’s enormous resources last year Ronaldo’s salary was estimated at 180 million US dollars, many of them came and left. And Ronaldo, who has become the mainstay and brightest,” said Sam Borden in his article on The New York Times website entitled Cristiano Ronaldo, Quiet Superstar, Can Win Portugal s Heart With Euros Title (2016).

However, nothing lasts forever. Ronaldo chose to leave Real Madrid. Ronaldo officially moved to Italian giant Juventus on July 10, 2018. The 33-year-old was brought in with a dowry of 100 million euros on a four-year contract.

The move shocked football lovers around the world. The reason is, Ronaldo at Real Madrid is at the peak of his career. Ronaldo’s chances of getting many titles are wide open at Real Madrid. However, Ronaldo’s decision to look for new challenges changed everything.

“I just have a very big thank you for this club and the city, I’ve had nine really incredible years at this club. Real Madrid have conquered my heart and my family.”

That’s why I want to say thank you more than ever: thanks to the club, president, director, my colleagues, all the staff, doctors, physiotherapists, and amazing people who made things go well. Thank you to everyone and, of course, as I said for the first time at our stadium nine years ago: Hala Madrid!, said Ronaldo in his resignation letter as quoted by Fabrizio Romano in his writing on the Guardian website entitled Cristiano Ronaldo Joining Juventus in bagentus from Real Madrid (2018).
