Darwin Nunez shares snap of dedicated fan who shaved Liverpool and Uruguay striker’s FACE into the back of his head in unique haircut

A fan of Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez has showed his love for the Uruguayan by getting his face and shirt number shaved into the back of his head.

The design, styled by Uruguayan barber Andres German Fondo, also features the colours of Nunez’s native country.

Nunez clearly liked what he saw, taking to Instagram to share a picture of the haircut with clapping hands, folded hands and fire emojis.

Nunez is coming off the back of a successful international break in which he scored two goals in two matches for Uruguay in World Cup qualifying.

The forward netted a late equaliser from the spot in a 2-2 draw with Colombia before scoring and assisting in Wednesday’s massive 2-0 victory over Brazil.

The Liverpool striker has enjoyed a good start to the season with both club and country

The results leave Uruguay second in the qualification table with seven points from four matches. The top six qualify automatically for the 2026 World Cup.

Nunez has had a good start to the season with Liverpool, contributing four goals and three assists in 10 matches.

His standout moment of the season so far came when he struck twice late on as the Reds came from behind to beat Newcastle with 10 men at St James’ Park.

Liverpool, who sit fourth in the Premier League, host local rivals Everton in the Merseyside Derby on Saturday afternoon.
