The left-back’s problem was incurred during Scotland’s 1-0 loss to Northern Ireland the previous week. Although Robertson’s problem is not as bad as initially thought, Sheffield United should not expect him to return.

Knee: Trent Alexander-Arnold

The vice captain of Liverpool has missed nearly two months of action due to an injury that worsened earlier in the season. This week, Alexander-Arnold might make a limited comeback to training, although the Reds will probably exercise caution.

The starting goalkeeper’s hamstring problem has kept him out of action for nearly two months. Alisson is another player who could return to some training this week.

Other: Stefan Bajcetic

The 19-year-old midfielder, who has been dealing with developing problems, underwent his own preseason regimen. This week, Bajcetic is scheduled to resume full training with the under-21 team. He will require some time and minutes to acclimate.

Hip Thiago Alcantara

Due to an ongoing issue, the midfielder has only been able to make one replacement appearance. As he has previously acknowledged, Klopp is unsure whether Thiago will play this season.

Joel Matip’s knee

The defender was injured nearly four months ago in his ACL. Matip may not play this season, despite the fact that he has been seen running outside once more.

Ben Doak’s knee

The 18-year-old winger needed surgery after suffering a knee injury in December. He is still working for a comeback.
