Liverpool closely monitoring the situation of 27-year-old Man United flop

According to a Fichajes report, Liverpool is keeping a careful eye on the Moroccan international’s circumstances in front of the summer transfer season.

The 27-year-old midfield player is presently available for a permanent signing with Manchester United, where he is on loan from Fiorentina.

But because of his lacklustre performances at Old Trafford, Manchester United does not intend to exercise their option to purchase him permanently.

Amrabat will probably be free in the summer because he has no future at the Italian team. It seems Liverpool is keeping an eye on him, but it’s unclear if they will opt to try to sign him.

Sofyan Amrabat would be a gamble for Liverpool
The 27-year-old performed admirably in the 2022 World Cup, advancing his nation to the competition’s semifinals. Due to his World Cup performances, he was linked to some of Europe’s best clubs. He hasn’t had success with Manchester United, though. He has not been able to adjust to the Premier League and has not performed well at Old Trafford.

Whether Liverpool is prepared to take a chance on the Manchester United bust and give him another chance to succeed in English football will be interesting to watch.

According to reports, the midfield player is worth €20 million, and Liverpool has the financial clout to close the transaction. A combative midfielder such as Amrabat seems like the perfect addition on paper.

How things play out in the next weeks is still to be seen. According to reports, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are also considering the midfield player.
