LFC football star Mohamed Salah wears jedi-style hooded coat as he goes for a spin in his Bentley
Mohamed Salah took a test drive in his brand-new Bentley, displaying his inner Star Wars enthusiast.
Salah has been in the spotlight once again this week after his outstanding performance helped Liverpool upset Brighton and increase their lead atop the Premier League standings.
The Egyptian earned the penalty for Jurgen Klopp’s team amid more claims of diving.
Wearing a bulky cardigan, Salah kept a low profile on her Monday lunch outing in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.
The 26-year-old man pulled on knitwear, drawing comparisons to Star Wars figures while pulling it over his head, and then he drove off in his gaudy new Bentley.
Salah’s penalty on Saturday against Brighton was his third in as many months.
Opposing players and pundits criticised him for being floored during games against Newcastle and Arsenal.
But Jordan Henderson, like his old teammate Luis Suarez, has spoken up for Salah and urged him to react on the pitch.
“They will improve his condition by doing this.” It doesn’t disturb him. Henderson said.
That’s the kind of thinking he has. He is strong, I’m sure of it. His drive to refute his critics will strengthen as the resistance against him grows. I’m not concerned about that.
“People ought to be grateful to him when he comes to other grounds.” He is going to do things that people want to see him do.
“There is a hundred percent penalty,” Henderson continued. There’s no debate about that. I think faraway grounds would appreciate what they see in relation to Mo.
“I’m sure it’s enjoyable to watch him perform the things he does.”
Liverpool’s victory over Brighton gave them a seven-point lead, which was cemented before Man City’s victory over Wolves on Monday.
“We are maintaining significantly more clean sheets, which is enormous,” Henderson said. “If you want trophies, keep doing that; we have to keep this momentum going until the end of the season.”
It is the biggest thing ever. But we still have to keep going with it.We all know by now that every game will probably be the most important of the season.
