Luis Suarez was in tears when Uruguay was trailing to Canada in the stoppage time of the Copa America third-place match.
18 seconds later, the striker made things level to send the game into the penalty shootout!
The 37-year-old went on to score his team’s final penalty kick of the shootout. Uruguay converted all of their attempts, Canada missed two, so Marcelo Bielsa’s side secured the Copa America bronze.
Ronald Araujo was also part of the bronze-winning squad.
This was Suarez’s only goal at the tournament – he stepped up when it really mattered.
