The wife of Liverpool goalkeeper Allison took to social media to respond to speculation.
Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson’s wife Natalia Becker has denied claims that she has been arrested.
The partner of the ex-Roma star claims she has been misidentified and is not involved in a case where a man passed away following a chemical skin peel at a clinic in Brazil.
A female with the same name – Natalia Becker – was arrested in relation to the incident, though the paediatrician has taken to social media to clarify that she is not the individual in question.
According to reports in Brazil, a male named Henrique passed away after undergoing an ‘aesthetic procedure’ in Sao Paulo on Monday.
The surgery, known as phenol peeling, which uses a corrosive substance is used on the skin, fell unwell after anaesthetic application and was taken away from the clinic by ambulance. The 27-year-old later passed away.
It has been speculated that the partner of Liverpool’s shot-stopper was involved due to having the same name and background, but she has responded by writing on her Instagram story to 350,000 followers: “I’m not the ‘Natalia Becker’ on the aesthetic clinic news.
Alisson married Natalia in 2015 when he was playing for Brazilian outfit Internacional, having met three years prior whilst the latter was studying at medical school. Natalia finished her qualifications in Brazil before moving to Italy after her husband had joined AS Roma in a deal worth £6.3million.
